The Everest Base Camp short trek is an itinerary designed for the trekkers willing to trek to EBC in spite of their busy schedule. Everest Base Camp is a dream destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. It is one of the most popular trekking destinations among the world with numbers of stunning attractions. We will provide you with the best trekking experience within your limited time. If you are not satisfied with our itinerary you can also compose your own as per your time and preferences.

We fly to Lukla and begin trekking through the land of the legendary Sherpas into the Sagarmatha (Everest) national park. Since the successful ascent of Everest the Khumbu region has enjoyed the international attention. We follow the classic trail to Namche bazaar, Khumjung, Pangboche and Lobuche to the Everest Base Camp and go on to Kalapatthar. From Tengboche to Pangboche (3,985m) the trail rises through meadows where graze yak.

After touring the monastery we set out and cross the Lobuche Khola to arrive at Pheriche. After crossing the moraines of the Changri Shar Glacier, we reach the sandy plain of Gorakshep. Then we climb up amongst large boulders to the broad summit of Kalapatthar (5,545m), which offers the best view of Everest and Khumbu Glacier. Whether it may be called Everest, Sagarmatha or Chomolungma, the highest peak of this planet is stunning to behold.

<p> After your arrival in Kathmandu our representatives will be waiting to give you a heartily welcome at airport. After then they will take you to the hotel and then we will have a short orientation at evening about our trip and also provide you welcome dinner. </p>

Today we will be flying towards Lukla airport from Kathmandu. Lukla is the main entrance to our Everest Base Camp. On our scenic 35minutes flight we will get the first glimpses of the mighty mountains along with the outstanding views of the Khumbu region. After landing in the Lukla airport we will meet rest of our team members and move to Phakding. Phakding is a small village where you the encounter with the friendly Sherpa’s along with their warm hospitality. Our first overnight stay in the Himalayan region will be on Phakding.

We will wake up early in the morning and then after having our breakfast we will move towards Namche Bazaar which lies at an altitude of 3450m. On our way to Namche we will walk through beautiful pine forest following a trial that leads up to the Benkar valley. Upon crossing a suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River we will pass through Jorsile village and a steep ascent will take us to the Namche Bazaar. Our overnight stay will be in Namche Bazaar.

A free day at Namche for acclimatization: today we will be acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar which is also known as Sherpa Capital. Namche Bazaar is a home to most of the Sherpa’s involved in tourism sector. Acclimatization is most important before proceeding to high altitude. It helps us to avoid altitude sickness. We will explore this beautiful village which is a financial hub for the people of Khumbu region or we can also visit the museum. After a short hike around the village we will come back to our lodge and prepare for the next day’s trek. Our overnight stay will be in Namche Bazaar.

We will wake up early in the morning and trek towards Phortse today we will take a steep climb up to the hill. On our trial we will be passing through local Gompa, agricultural projects and long mani walls to Khumjung.Phortse is a traditional village. The lodges there will serve you with authentic Nepali dishes. As you reach the village you will get to see terraced fields where they grow potatoes and buckwheat during the season. Spending a night at Phortse would be a good idea.

Today we will be trekking towards Dingboche.We will be following spectacular high path that takes us to Pangboche.There we will stop for lunch and take some rest. After about 6 hours trek we will reach to Dingboche.Dingboche is a home to internet cafes and one of the world’s highest billiard parlors. Upon reaching Dingboche we can see the Imja River flowing at the east of the village and kilometers of stones walls. Our overnight stay will be on Dingboche.

Dingboche is a popular stop for acclimatization. After breakfast we will have an optional walk to Chhukhung and Island Peak base camp. From there we will have great views of snow capped mountains. We will spend some time there have our lunch and then trek back to Dingboche for overnight stay.

We will wake up early in the morning; after we freshen up we will have our breakfast and will start our trek to Lobuche. We will follow the main trail to Everest base camp up beside Khumbu glacier to Lobuche 4900m via Thukla. After walking about 5 hours passing through several Sherpa villages and steepy trail we will reach to Lobuche. Lobuche is a small settlement near Mount Everest. It is one of the most popular stop for the trekkers. We will have our overnight stay in Lobuche.

Today we will be climbing to the best view point on Earth which is Kalapatthar. Kalapatthar is a black rock which lies at an altitude of 5545m.We will wake up early in the morning and start our trek to GorakhShep & climb Kalapattther (5545m) over looking view Everest base camp and back to Lobuche. The summit of the Everest is not visible from the Base Camp but it can be seen from Kalapatthar. We will spend some time on Kalapatthar taking some pictures and then we will trek back to Lobuche.

Today we will wake up early in the morning freshen up and have our breakfast and we will be trekking towards Tengboche. On our journey we will pass through several Sherpa villages. Upon reaching Tengboche we will also visit the largest monastery of the Khumbu region which is Tengboche monastery. The monastery is known for its tranquility and belief. If we reach thereby 3 o’clock then we can also observe their religious ceremony. We will spend some time there enjoying the views of beautiful mountains and then we will return back to our lodge. We will have our overnight stay in Tengboche.

After having our breakfast at Tengboche we will be desending to Phungithanga. The path up to the Bridge of Dudh Koshi River is comparatively an easy path but a dusty one. We will cross the bridge across Dudh Koshi River and then will move up to Sansa and then we will be moving towards Namche Bazaar. We will spend some time there taking rest and having lunch. After having our lunch we will descend to Monjo. Monjo consist of a numbers of guest houses. We will spend our overnight in one of them.

Today is the final day of our trek. We will have our breakfast in Monjo and start our trek. We will be descending through the Dudh Koshi valley. We will have our lunch in Phakding. After few hours of pleasant walk we will reach to Lukla and mark a full stop to our trekking to Everest Base Camp. Our overnight stay will be in Lukla.

Today we will be flying to Kathmandu bidding a goodbye to the Everest Region. We will take an early morning flight to Kathmandu where will be viewing incredible beauty of the Himalayas for the last 35minutes. After your landing on Tribhuvan International Airport our representatives of Nepal Trekking Trial will take you to the hotel.
